great experience! The lessons were well-structured, the instructors were patient and encouraging, and the focus on speaking helped build confidence quickly. I appreciated how interactive the classes were — lots of practice!

Thank you for accepting my evaluation. A few thoughts:
Pros:
– Jean-Lucien is a phenomenal teacher. He is passionate, understanding, will explain things, knowledgeable and speaks only in French to achieve immersion. I felt that the learning environment was a safe place to ask questions, increase my skills, and learn due to his teaching.
-Materials were very good, and I appreciated the examples and explanations.
– Class started and ended on time.

Improvements –
-More Speaking Time – I think that some mechanical improvements can be made to this. For example – during the oral test, students should be required to speak in pairs to one another. In general, I think more student speaking time should be encouraged to practice this. I think classes should have that built in as it would provide students to better develop those active skills. There were many interactions that were between the teacher and individual students, but I think that there can be structured activities from student to student to better cement this learning.

All in all – I rate the teaching here to be very good. I’ve learned several languages in the past. I do think though that the BLI model can evolve by integrating more communicative approaches into the more grammar-heavy lessons.

The document is constantly freezing, regardless of browser (tested it on Edge, Chrome and Mozilla) and keeps twitching on screen, making it very difficult to read.

The problem seems to be fixed now.
